DIY BAR

Our DIY Hire option lets you take the reins with full use of Pique Bars for the day or evening.

Includes: 

  • Full use of Pique Bars for day or evening hire

  • Up to two beverage dispensing taps with your choice of beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails and non-alcoholic.

  • Can hold up to 20, 30, 50L kegs.

  • Ice for Keg cooling system.

  • CO2 and Nitrogen gas for still and sparkling beverages

  • Full setup and pack down

  • Keg Collection and Returns

  • Delivery and collection of the mobile bar within 50km of Palmerston North (additional kilometres charged at $1.25 per km)

  • Training for how to use the keg system

ALL INCLUSIVE

The All-Inclusive package takes everything up a notch! You get the full Pique Bars experience, plus a staffed bar to serve your guests in style.

  • Number of bartenders depends on number of guests 

    • 1 bartender, up to 50 guests 

    • 2 bartenders, up to 100 guests 

    • 3 bartenders, up to 150 guests 

You get up to two taps to serve your choice of drinks, plus everything you need to keep it running smoothly - delivery, setup, staffing, and collection included.

Hire From $800+GST. Bartenders charged at an hourly rate of $35 p/h.

HOW TO START THE PARTY

GET IN TOUCH

Fill out the form or email us directly and tell us about your event. If we have availability, we will provide a detailed quote, including any extra's you may need and create a plan of action for the day!

ORDER DRINKS

We will provide you with a list of kegs from our trusted suppliers, to be delivered to you along with the bar. You are welcome to organise your own kegs, however we will need to ensure these work with the keg system.

PARTY TIME

If we're providing staff - sit back, relax and enjoy your event. If you're hiring without staff - we'll deliver the van, get you set up and show you to how to use the keg system so you can pour your own - that's the fun part!

What events do you cater to?

We cater to a wide range of events including weddings, private parties, corporate events, festivals, and pop-ups. If you’ve got a celebration in mind, we’re here to help make it unforgettable!

What’s included in the Base Van Hire option?

The Base Van Hire includes full use of our mobile bar, delivery, setup, tap system, and pack-down. You’ll be responsible for providing your own drinks, but we handle all the logistics for you.

Do you provide the drinks or do I need to bring my own?

We don't sell alcohol but we have a list of suppliers who you can buy from directly. You can book your kegs through us and you will be invoiced by these suppliers. However, if you are planning an event and would like us to sell on behalf, we can apply for a special license.

How many kegs can the van hold?

Our van is fully equipped to hold 20, 30, or 50L kegs, so you’ve got plenty of options for beer, wine, or cocktails on tap! There are two taps to pour from. 

Do I need to provide power for the bar?

Nope! Our mobile bar is fully self-contained and doesn’t require any external power source. We provide everything needed for the kegs, cooling system, and service.

What areas do you service?

We mainly operate in the Manawatu-Whanganui region, but we’re happy to travel further for the right event! Delivery beyond 50km from Palmerston North is charged at $1.25 per km.

How long can I hire the van for?

You can hire our mobile bar for half a day (up to 4 hours) or a full day (up to 8 hours). Need extra time? No problem! Additional hours are available for just $100/hr.

What happens after the event?

Once the event’s over, we’ll pack down and take care of everything. If you’ve hired kegs, we’ll collect them and handle the returns for you.

Do you provide staff for events?

Yes! We provide bartenders with our All-Inclusive Packages to ensure your drinks are served with style and efficiency. You can also add extra staff as needed.

How do I book?

Booking is simple! Just contact us with your event details, and we’ll help you choose the best package. Once you’ve confirmed, we’ll send over the details and get everything set for your celebration.

Can I add extras like glassware or cocktail options?

Absolutely! You can add glassware rentals, signature cocktails, or extra bartenders. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll tailor the experience to fit your event.

Do we need a liquor license?

If you are in a public space or licensed premises you will need to check with your local council. If you’re a private event on private property you do not need a liqour license.
